Obituary of Doreen Trepanier

Marie Dorina (Doreen) Trepanier (nee Chiasson) passed away peacefully on January 20, 2022, at the age of 93.   Doreen was born August 1, 1928, in Baie-Sainte Anne in New Brunswick, born the last child and last surviving member of a large French-Canadian Acadian family.  Our Mom will be sadly missed, and is survived by her children, Don (Ginny), Joanne Mouneimne (Danny), and Ron, and predeceased by our dad, Raymond (2015) and our sister Debbie Maltby (2015).  Proud grandmother to 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Our Mom was devoted to the care of her family, both immediate and extended, and loved to cook and bake, visit with, and enjoy everyone’s presence.

Special thanks to all the caring staff of Highland Place, and in her final days, the compassionate staff at the Chest Unit of St. Mary’s Hospital.

Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
