Obituary of Christa Ruth Sherriffs

Christa Ruth Sherriffs passed away peacefully at the age of 72 in her sleep on January 25, 2022 in the comfort of her own home.

Christa was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Magdalena Michel, brothers Karl, Peter and sister Ruthi.

Christa was born in Germany and immigrated to Canada along with her family in 1952. She loved to laugh and has a great sense of humour. One of her passions was food and she loved to cook for her family along with enjoying trips to Florida. Christa worked many years at Pannill Veneer and worked many years alongside her sister Ruthi at Carewell Clinic. A devoted sister, mom and grandmother.

Christa will be sadly missed by her husband Robert A. Sherriffs, sister Hanni Pflug and husband David, daughters Lora Snyders and partner Pierre, Lisa Kennedy and husband Duncan, son Jason Snyders. She will be missed by her nephews Jamie Dimitrie and wife Angela, Johnnie Dimitrie, nieces Tania Roth and Brandi May. Grandchildren Daniel, Matthew, Kassandra, Logan, Quinn and Abbygail and great grandchild Serenity. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.
