Obituary of Anna Mae Wickie

Anna Mae Wickie of Waterloo, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at the age of 76.

 

Dear wife of Tom Wickie; Anna and Tom were married on July 22, 1967. Proud mother of Tom and Matt (Michelle Gerth). Cherished grandmother of Sydney, Carson, Georgia, Paige and Spencer. Dear sister of Rose Iacobellis, Margaret Bossence, David Lobsinger, and Michael Lobsinger. Daughter of the late Giles and Evelyn Lobsinger.

 

Ann was a teacher with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board for 15 years. After her retirement, she worked at Tim Hortons in Kitchener and Waterloo. She was a dedicated volunteer, enjoyed volunteering with Waterloo Minor Hockey. She loved the Blue Jays and cheering for the Montreal Canadiens. Anna was the biggest fan of her grandchildren; she was always cheering them on and will be forever in their hearts. Until we meet again Grandma!  Anna will be dearly missed by many.

 

At Anna’s request, there will be no visitation and cremation will take place. A memorial mass will be held at St. Agnes RC Church, Waterloo at a later date.
