Obituary of Maureen Sheila Porter

Passed away peacefully at home on February 01, 2022.

She will be fondly remembered by her loving husband Ralph Porter and daughter Stephanie Zielke and her husband Vern. Her grandchildren, Ashley, Blake and his wife Jessica, Courtney and Yeison.

 

Predeceased by her beloved son Stephen Porter who passed away in 2014 and her mother Phillis Paxton.

 

Maureen and Ralph came to Canada with their family from England in April 1965. Maureen loved spending time with her family and she loved dancing with her husband Ralph. During their 65 years, together in their working days, they still made time to go to Florida for 20 years and after retirement they were considered snowbirds and continued to go to Florida each winter for another 20 years. One of her greatest qualities was her great memory, if there was anything you needed to know, we knew to ask mum, she remembered everything. Your joyous laughter will always be remembered. 

 

Cremation will take place; a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
