It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Volz. Nancy passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Monday, February 21, 2022, in her 69th year.
Nancy will be greatly missed by her husband and best friend, Paul, her daughters Jennifer (Chris) and Candace (Nic) as well as her many siblings, Debbie (Mike), Brian (Debbie), Donna (Jane) and Mary (John). And, of course her beloved grandchildren, Avery, Vincent, Lasetta and Remy.
She was predeceased by her mother (Elizabeth Dolotowicz) and her father (Adam Dolotowicz), as well as her dear sister (Cathy).
Nancy loved entertaining, spending time with her grandchildren, traveling as well as spending summers at the family cottage in Muskoka. Nancy was very active at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Kitchener, on various committees, as well as at the Rotary Centre, Kitchener, and a partner with Paul at Waterloo Toyota. She was the ultimate host when entertaining, loved unconditionally and was the best mom anyone could ask for! Nancy’s absence will be most felt by her loving husband of 47 years as well as her daughters who cared for her until the end.
Nancy lived her life with love, good humour, and grace.
A private family memorial service will be held at the funeral home.
