Joanne Marie Koegler (née Sinclair), 1956-2022

Beloved wife to Bill, devoted mother to Brad (Kim), passed away at Grand River Hospital KW Campus on Thursday, February 24, 2022. She is also survived by her mother, Marie Sinclair (née Strack), and siblings Debbie (Craig) and Jim (Angela), all of Kitchener-Waterloo and by many relatives. Joanne is predeceased by her father, Donald Sinclair.

Joanne had a very witty sense of humour and will be missed by her many friends and dear neighbours. She excelled at numerous hobbies including porcelain painting, quilting, ceramics, needlepoint, sewing, embroidery, arranging silk flowers and finding and trying new recipes, and loved country-style decorating. She had an appreciation of nature, enjoyed watching birds and loved the flowers in her gardens. Joanne also enjoyed playing cards in two card groups that play euchre and canasta and will be missed by her numerous card opponents.

Despite Joanne's health challenges, she was always upbeat, bubbly and cheerful, and loved to socialize with friends and family.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Joanne with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 2 to 5 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4 in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. A Livestream of the funeral service at www.erbgood.com will be available at www.erbgood.com A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room following the service.
