Passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, February 27th, 2022 at the age of 66 years.

Beloved husband and best friend to Maryan. Loving father of Jason, (Ashley), Spencer, (Lauren). Loving stepfather to Ian, (Nicole), Justin, (Erin). Loving son of Arleighen Cook. Brother of Charles, (Merryl), Margaret, (Ron), Alan, Scott, Jayne, (Chuck), Ian, and (Bettina). Cherished grandfather of 5: Gavin, Colson, Izabelle, Silas, and Jonah. Kent will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and neighbours.

Predeceased by father Jim Cook, and stepdaughter Sandrine Mahler.

Kent was born in Hamilton Ontario on September 24th, 1955. Kent, as a truck driver worked for: Apex, Willett, National Grocers, Loblaws, and finished his career driving for Breadner Trailers. His career in trucking led to numerous truck rodeo awards. When he wasn't in the middle of a renovation project, Kent loved spending his time outdoors as well as serenading the world with his lovely voice. Kent and Maryan have been faithful choir members at St. Michael's Church, Waterloo. "

To attend the visitation and service for Kent, personal face coverings are required. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 am.  A reception will immediately follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. A private family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo at a later date.
