Obituary of Phyllis Marguerite Audrey Madeline Lauvray Maier

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday March 4, 2022 at the age of 72.

Cherished wife and best friend of Eric (2003) for 35 years.

Loving mother of Bruce and his wife Sylvia; Brian and his wife Alison.

Nana will be missed by her grandsons Thomas and Eric who were very special to her and her cats Vader and Josie.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her daughters Diane and Jennifer, her parents Hector and Madeline, and her sisters Patricia, Audrey and Carol.

Phyllis was the recipient of the Celine Dion Award for her tireless work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, March 7 from 6-9 p.m with prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s RC Church, 80 University Ave. W., Waterloo on Tuesday, March 8 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Pawel Jamroz as Celebrant. A reception with light lunch will follow in St. Michael’s RC Church reception hall.
