Beloved husband of 68 years to Rosalinde (Rose), passed away peacefully just days after his 102nd birthday.
Keith was born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and together with his new bride, immigrated to Canada in 1954.
Loving father to Eric (Liz) of Invermere, BC, Andrew (Karen) of Waterloo, and Betty Ann (Peter) Schnurr of Kitchener.
Cherished Opa to 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Keith touched many lives in his work in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo and through dedicated service to his church family.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Blair Egerdie, the dedicated health care team who helped Keith at home the past 2 years and the Palliative Care team at Grand River Hospital – Freeport Campus for their caring support in his final days.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Keith's life and a reception will follow, at Kitchener East Presbyterian Church, 10 Zeller Drive, Kitchener on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 2:00 PM. The service will be livestreamed and saved on You-Tube for those who are unable to attend.
