Audrey was a well respected teacher and influential mentor to me, as a first year teacher at Sandowne Public School. Yes, she did give me lots of valuable advice, whether I requested it or not. However, she will be most remembered as a cherished friend throughout those teaching years and beyond when I moved West. Whenever we’d get together for Sandowne Reunions it was as if no time had passed. She was always smiling. I will miss those yearly Christmas cards updating me on her life experiences; what an amazing woman. I was blessed to have known her and am saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family. Heidi
