I’m sorry I missed the service for your mother Bill — you are obviously much more organized than me! Your mother had a long and well-lived life, however it’s ending is still a loss for which I extend my sympathies. You will be expected to keep up your crossword puzzle skills however! :) Much love, Mark

My sympathy to all the Bobier family. You must be so very proud of Lois. I had many happy memories of times with Lois and Dr. Clair. Barb Sivak always said that Lois Bobier was her very best physiotherapy patient.

Rosie Garner posted a condolence

I was the lucky person who found Lois Bobier in 1975 when my husband Leon was a visiting Professor at Kitchener Waterloo where he worked alongside Clair. Lois became my life long friend and my first two children Jane and David who were only 3 and 2 at the time, still have find memories of their surrogate grandmother and her "bubble car" which had a glass dome roof! We were so well looked after by Claire and Lois and treated to a thanksgiving dinner with sons Bill and Paul. My first ever roast goose! Our toddlers danced to the music of Scott Joplin in the family lounge room and I have the fondest memories of Lois's generosity, friendship over 47 years and that beautiful infectious smile. Rest in peace dear Lois and my deepest sympathy and condolences to the family.
Much love
Rosie Garner and family. ❤️

We got to know Lois through 'get togethers' at Bettie and Keith Thomas's January parties, and 'the drowning of the shamrock' parties every St. Patrick's Day. We fondly remember her great sense of humour, her kindness, her generosity (we were fortunate guests of hers at Luther village), her intelligence, and welcome presence. She made the world a better place, and we will always remember her with love and gratitude.
Kindest regards,
Kevin Thomas and Sue Savor
