Our deepest sympathy Ken and Trevor on Connie's passing. I have many happy memories of time spent at the hockey arena with Connie. Connie, my mom and aunt enjoyed seeing each other at the rink and were the best fans at the glass. She was a delight to chat with. May special times and memories bring you peace.

Dear Gary, Ron, Ken, Paul and Families,
We were saddened to hear of the passing of your Mom. We hope that memories of times together growing up will help you navigate through these sad times. We're sure with four boys, there are plenty of tales to tell! We fondly remember the Giesler Reunions, talking with all the aunts and uncles, and especially spending time with Connie...she knew how to make us feel so welcome in her presence...such a special lady!
Our deepest sympathies,
Bill and Lynn Giesler

Gary, Ron, Ken and Paul, my sister and I spent many enjoyable times with your mother. She found joy in her angel pin/statues and Santa Claus .collectibles. She shared many stories about life in Nova Scotia and her times in the North Ward. She appreciated her family and had much love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. May she rest in peace.

I always enjoyed a visit with Connie. She was the family historian. She was the one who filled in the blanks for me about what my dad was like as a teenager (he was 12 when Connie came along ) and after he returned from WWII. She told me all about leaving her beloved, close knit Cape Breton home and moving to Guelph in 1947. She told of the 3 day train ride with Hazel into the unknown. For her is was like going to a foreign country. She told stories of my Mom and Dad when they were courting and after. She was also the photographer of some of our best early family photos. Several now sit on my shelf in a place of honour. You could always count on her to make you laugh while making sure you had a cup of tea and something delicious that she baked just for your visit. She loved visitors. I will miss you but you will never die because you will always be in my thoughts as a good, funny, caring aunt.
Love
