Obituary of Roopdaye Dookhan

It is with deep sorry that we mourn the passing of Roopdaye (Radica) Dookhan of Kitchener, Ontario. On May 10th, 2022, Radica passed away at the age of 56.

 

She will be lovingly remembered by her father Siewnanan (Sonny) Seetaram and siblings Sandra, Devi, Prandeo, Gyandeo and Ramchand.

 

She will also be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews Tasha, Avin, Mandy, Jay, Akeem, Amrita, Avery, along with lots of cousins, aunts and uncles.

 

She was predeceased by her loving mother Chandroutie (Batie) Dookhan.

 

Radica was born in Trinidad and moved to Canada at the age of 22. She had a passion for cooking and entertaining. She loved the beaches and waterfronts. Radica kept family close, and she was always the life of the party.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
