Obituary of William Hilton

Bill lived a loving and full life. He left this world suddenly but peacefully on Sunday May 15^th in the comfort of his own home. A home always full of love, laughs and family. Bill could always be found reading a book, out in the garden or in front of the tv watching his sports. If he wasn’t at home, he was either on a walk or with his grandkids.

Bill was born in Westville Nova Scotia and came to Kitchener when he was a young teen. Bill then started working at Budd Canada where he retired from after 33 years.

Bill was an amazing and loving husband to Patricia (Farrell) for over 45 years. Their best times were just being outdoors enjoying each others company. “Till we meet again”

Greatest Dad to Craig (Brandie), Lindsay (Jeff) and Kim. Cherished Grandpa of Mason, Avery, Maximus, Emilee, Jackson, and Zachary. Bill wore the title of Grandpa very proudly and will always be remembered by his grandkids for all the special memories they made together.

Bill was survived by his sister Eleanor Vail (Jim) and predeceased by his brother Thomas Hilton.

Bill will be greatly miss by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive guests in the fireside reception room of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo on Friday May 20, 2022, from 1:30-3:00. The memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home following the reception.
