Lynn was my office mom for many years. She always introduced me as her "good ole pal" Kate and told people that she didn't know why I hung out with her as she was old enough to be my grandma. She told the dirtiest jokes, always had the funniest stories and was very mischievious.I remember the stories of "fat cat" Midge, the day she showed up to work with a glass dinner plate taped on her car as a makeshift headlight when she had hit a turkey, and when she hijacked the office fish and brought it to me in dinner bowl cause I had bought it and she felt like it belonged to me. Lynn was one of a kind and had a heart of gold. She spoke often and with love for her kids, grandkids and Andrew. She always loved going to family camp at Camp Koinonia. It was her little piece of heaven and her favourite spot to be. Although she moved away to be closer to family we kept in touch over the years. A few weeks ago Lynn reached out to me to let me know that her time here with us was limited. She told me she wasn't scared of dying "being one of those church going ladies" and she was soaking up all the love and time left with her family. I hope her family finds comfort in the memories and times shared with this fabulous lady. I will miss you my hippie old pal-until we meet again.
