Obituary of Sylvia Loquan (nee Shim)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on June 3, 2022.

Survived by Sons Neil (Christine), Wayne (Nirmala) and Mark (Patricia) Loquan. Daughters Sharon (Peter) Chin-Cheong and Nancy (Barry) Josse de Lisle. Grandchildren Randal, Kyle, Nicholas (Sarah), Shane (Michelle), Zachary, Evan, Gerard, Sarah and Renee. Great- grandchildren Finn and Zayne. Sylvia will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Edward, parents Joseph and Lilian, brothers Ronald, Edric, Vernon, Sydney and Errol, sisters Eileen, Joyce and Helen. Grandchildren Vicki and Liam.

Special thanks to the collective team of doctors and healthcare workers who provided such wonderful care, dedication, love and support for our mother over the last few weeks and months.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael RC Church, on Friday June 10,2022 at 11:00 am. Gathering to follow at church hall after mass. Private cremation will follow.
