As a member of the SYDE '77 Class, I remember Koncay fondly, and often. His reactions to our enthusiasm and playfulness I remember as "puzzled homour". I think he could see the potential in all of us, and he lavished his attention on those that showed persistence in the pursuit excellence. He was a giant of a man and mind, and urged us all to be better. Inshallah, we will meet again.
