Dear Fournier Family: my fondest memory of my time in the French program at University of Waterloo was the day after Ray received his Ph.D. He was so proud of his achievement and we were so proud of him….he warranted our round of applause.
. Ray was the primary reason I kept up my French language skills…even to my current age of 71…we have friends in St.-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Québec City with whom we practise our linguistic skills lo these 50 years that have passed….he had a great sense of humour and was a very clever, and attentive prof. God bless him.
