Uncle Merv, I remember sitting with you and Aunt Janet in Mom and Dad's backyard with my daughter, Emily (who was a pre-teen at the time), after she competed in a horse show. You talked with her about your experiences with horses and included a young girl in adult conversation. It made her feel important and I loved you for connecting with her. You will be missed.
