Obituary of Chris (Krzysztof) Jozef Trojanowski

Chris passed away in his sleep at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, June 17, 2022.

Beloved husband of Catherine Moloney and loving father of Nick Trojanowski. Predeceased by his son Conrad in 2007 and parents Stanislaw Trojanowski and Krystyna Slendak.

Chris was born 69 years ago in Warsaw, Poland. He will be missed by many cousins and friends in Poland. Chris attended Warsaw Technical school where he obtained a Masters of Electrical Engineering. He later earned an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. He was proud of his executive work in several Canadian technology companies. Chris enjoyed sports, playing semi-professional volleyball in Warsaw and recreational soccer and tennis throughout his life. Chris was an enthusiastic fan of soccer teams Chelsea FC and Legia Warsaw. Chris's family always came first. His boys were his life and Chris gave them endless love and devotion.

Chris’s family would like to thank Dr. Norman Bodkin and nurses Diane, Jackie, Chantal and Joanne for their excellent care and compassion throughout Chris's illness. We are also appreciative of the care at Freeport Hospital especially from Dr. Jebanesan and team in PT and Dr. Shwarz and staff in the palliative care unit.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Prayers will be held at 6:45 p.m. with a reception to follow at 7:00 p.m.
