It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Kathleen Faucette on June 15, 2022, at Foxview Retirement Community in Ottawa Ontario after a brief illness.

Brenda was born in Windsor Nova Scotia, where she spent her childhood.  After finishing high school Brenda moved to Toronto to live with her older sister Dorothy.  She met her husband, Michael, at a Maritime Club dance. The pair settled in Kitchener Ontario where they raised their family and built their life together.

Brenda spent her career in banking, first with Toronto Dominion Bank, and then with the Waterloo Education Credit Union.  Brenda left an enormous impression on all people she met.  From her clients at the bank, to her co-workers (many of which have become lifelong friends), to anyone else she met, her generosity, caring and kind heart shone through.  Her loss will be felt by many.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Michael Faucette, her sons Craig Faucette and Paul Faucette (Marie-Pier Albert); grandchildren Cedar Faucette, Isla Faucette, and Crosson Faucette as well as her brothers Blaine Draper (Mary), Brian Draper (Linda), Kenneth Draper (Linda), Gary Draper (Kim) and sisters Gloria Hick (Carl) and Gina Burns (Ken).  She was predeceased by her parents, George and Rosmond Draper, brother Ernest Draper (Susan), sisters Dorothy Phillips and Judith Ozon.  She will be missed by her brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Drs. Chapman and Goindi, and the staff at Foxview Retirement Community for their care and compassion.
