Obituary of Evelyn "Ev" Schiefele
July 15, 1934 - July 14, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Schiefele announce her passing just 2 ½ hours from celebrating her 88th birthday.
Loving sister, aunt, great-aunt, grandma and friend.
She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by sister Sandra Bellamy, niece Wendy Reynolds, niece Michelle Costa, and nephew Jim Reynolds.
Grandma to Lisa Allan and Willie and Jordie Robinson.
Great-aunt to Olivia and Ava Costa.
Sister to Dianne Walls and mother to Deborah Davidson.
She will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Charles in 1974, son Douglas in 2020, and partner Alec Robinson in 2004.
She was also predeceased by her parents Beatrice Harper and William Reynolds, sisters Ruth Speilmacher, Joyce Reynolds, Helen McTaggart, and Yvonne Smart, and brothers Leonard, Bruce and Doug Reynolds.
Evelyn was employed by J.M. Schneiders for many years where she formed many lifelong friendships.
At Evelyn’s request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
