Obituary of Sheril Lynn Malcolm

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend Sheril Lynn Malcolm who passed away on August 4, 2022 at the age of 47.

Sheril is survived by her cherished mother Launa Malcolm, her father Leon Solan, her twin sister Stephanie Duggan (Marc), her sister Marilyn Malcolm, her adored nephew and niece Malcolm and Chloe Duggan, and her siblings Andrea Knight and Lincoln Solan.

Sheril lived and extraordinarily full life. Sheril graduated from the University of Waterloo with an honours degree in Spanish. She also attended Western University, Humber College and then obtained her CHRP which she used while she worked for the City of Toronto.  

Sheril loved to travel, she loved fashion, she loved God and she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Castlefield Church worship team where she shared her beautiful voice with the congregation each week.

Sheril was and is loved immensely and will be missed by her family and friends in Canada, America, Jamaica and England. Our angel is now in Heaven. We will love you forever. Until we see each other again.

The visitation and funeral will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home,171 King Street South, Waterloo on Monday, August 15th. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Williamsburg Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. A reception will follow in the Fireside Lounge of the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The service will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend.
