Obituary of Marjorie Ann Garrett

Passed away peacefully, at home, on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the age of 94 years.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Stephen Garrett (Sonora Wallace), Susan McNeil (Ron McNeil) and Carrie Garrett (Charles Knister), her daughter-in-law April Garrett, grandchildren Jennifer, Patricia, Joshua, Skye (Samantha), David, Candice (Chris), Jeffery (Sara), Oliver, Ben, Darren and Michael (Janine). Also survived by her sister-in-law Nancy Smith, brother Donald Smith and brother-in-law Bill Templeton. 

Predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd, daughter Jodie (Roy) Baker, son Peter Garrett, grandson Chris Garrett, brother John Smith, sister Joan Sylvester and sister Carol (Andy) Bleau. 

Several years ago, Marjorie was active in St. Timothy’s Anglican church in Agincourt and was a proud member of their church group “the misfits”.

Special thanks are extended by the family to the PSW’s who took great care of mom over the years.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 12:00 pm -12:45pm.  The memorial service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:00 pm. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room. Cremation will have taken place.
