Passed away at Hamilton General Hospital following a brief and sudden illness on September 5th, 2022 at the age of 46.

Christa leaves behind her beloved husband Jason, her two sons Tyler (Chelsea) and Kalvin (Brianna), her parents Bill and Deb Riddell, and her siblings, Jennifer (Jeff), Alex (Niki) Karrie (Csaba) as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends and family.

Christa loved the outdoors and being at her second home… the cottage.  It was the place she was the happiest.

She had a wild arsty streak, bottles of paint littered the house but she always could find something she absolutely NEEDED to paint and create beautiful art. Not to mention the many garden ornaments she spent hours creating to share with her friends and family.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors at Hamilton General Hospital for their care shown to Christa. 

Visitation for Christa will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.  The service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 am. Following the service, cremation will take place and a family interment will be held at a later date.
