I have very fond memories of Carl when we worked together at Grey Silo Golf Course. Carl was an excellent starter and wasn’t shy to enforce the rules…always in a friendly and caring manner. On one occasion, a gentleman showed up to play in blue jeans. Carl informed this person of the dress code and the guy got so irate that he stripped off his jeans, flung them aside, and said “is this better” Carl just looked up the hill to me and smirked his Carl-like smirk, then called the pro shop for assistance. It was priceless and Carl handled it only as Carl would….calmly. RIP Carl
