Obituary of Elizabeth Helena van Bodegom

Peacefully passed away at Grand River Hospital, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the age of 73 years.

Beloved wife of Leo for over 53 years. Loving mother of Michael (Mira), Brian (Heidi) and Denise. Cherished grandmother of Keira, Smitty, Mason, Hannah and Arianna.  Survived by her sister Marg Wanders (John), sister-in-law Brenda van Middelkoop and by members of the van Middelkoop and van Bodegom families. Predeceased by her brother Gerry van Middelkoop.

Elizabeth devoted her life to raising her family and especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. Knitting and crocheting were also special pastimes for her.

The van Bodegom family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo on Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 7-9pm. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens, Breslau on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 12pm followed by a Memorial Service at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen Street North, Kitchener at 2pm with a fellowship to follow at the church. Please note that personal face coverings are being requested to be worn at the church.
