Obituary of Fatima "Tima" Maria Avila Cabral

Passed away peacefully in the early hours of the morning at the Hospice of Waterloo Region, Waterloo on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

 

Survived by her husband Kevin Brezynskie, mother Maria Cabral, brother Fernando Cabral, aunt Maria Teixeira, and cousin Angela Connelly. Predeceased by her uncle Casimiro Teixeira.

 

Tima was a caretaker of living things.  She tended to her garden, showered the people in her life with affection, brought laughter and joy to children, and deeply loved every animal she met.   She will be missed by all whose life she touched.

 

Special thanks to Hospice of Waterloo Region for their truly special service and to the Grand River Cancer Centre and their fantastic staff.

 

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 7 – 9 p.m. Parish prayers offered Friday at 8:45 p.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E. Waterloo, on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10 a.m., with Rev. Phil Reilly, C.R. officiating.  A Celebration of Life and reception will follow the mass in the Parish Hall.  Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery.
