It is with undeniable sorrow that we must say goodbye to a dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and the truest friend, Harold Albert Mahy.  Harold passed away on October 8, 2022 with his wife and two sons by his side.

We will miss your famous dad jokes, great nicknames and your caring heart.  Thank you for everything you’ve given us.

Harold leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Helen, sons Branden (Jessica) and Philip (Rachel), his grandchildren Valerie, Calvin and Ruby. His sister Evelyn, brothers Don, Brian and Charlie.  Harold is predeceased by his parents Gerald and Freda Mahy and brother Alfred.

Harold worked for Datasym System Integrators and Tri City Retail Systems for the majority of his career.  The hole left behind by his passing will undoubtedly be felt by all who had the honor of knowing him. 

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 11:00 am – 12:45 pm.  The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room.  Cremation will have already taken place.
