Obituary of Barry Ron Corbett

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that Barry Ron Corbett passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Waterloo on Tuesday September 20, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.

Barry moved into Supportive Housing of Waterloo (SHOW) in 2020 and immediately became part of the SHOW family. Barry knew many of our residents and quickly settled into his new routine; playing pool in the common room, enjoying meals with friends, and participating in activities and programs.

Barry became extremely close with his neighbor Darrell and the two had been inseparable over the past few months. They often shared meals together, helped one another with chores, and became the best friends that they both needed and deserved. 

SHOW staff will alway remember Barry's positive attititude and his gratefulness to call SHOW home.

SHOW will hold a Memorial Service for Barry on Thursday October 27, 2022 beginning at 2:00pm at Supportive Housing of Waterloo (362 Erb St W., Waterloo). All are welcome to join SHOW staff and residents as we remember Barry.
