Ellen Sook Ying Lam (nee WAN), passed away peacefully on October 20, 2022, at The Village of Humber Heights, Etobicoke, 86 years of age. Predeceased by husband, Tat-Lau (2003); dear mother of Unice (Bryan Chan), Dr. Gordon (Dr. Therese Lee), and May (Stephen Lu). Loving grandmother of Janice Lam, Claris Lam, Darren Lu and Keana Lu.

Born in Hong Kong to a large family, Ellen enjoyed teaching before becoming a full-time mother and homemaker. Moved to Canada with her family in 1984, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, travelling, ballroom dancing and singing.

The Lam family will receive friends at Erb & Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A private family funeral will be held on October 29, 2022.
