Obituary of Carol Ann Kessig
Carol passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, October 23rd at the age of 78 years. Loving mother of Rosemarie Binkley and her husband J.T. and Dan Kessig and his wife Lisa. Beloved grandmother of Jordan, Ava, Jack and Natalie. Predeceased by her true love Wayne and her parents, Eileen and Alexander Wey. Sadly missed by her sisters Bernadette and Jane. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Carol was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing her piano, oil painting and travelling with her husband. She was a hairdresser for many years and especially enjoyed working with the elderly. Carol was a devoted and dedicated mother. She is fondly remembered for the joy she brought from spending time with her children and grandchildren, and her amazing Christmas and holiday dinners.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the staff at University Gates Pollock Village and the 7th floor team at St. Mary’s Hospital. Your compassion and dedication to mom’s comfort made an immense difference on her difficult journey.
Friends are invited to celebrate Carol’s life at the Erb and Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louis Parish, 53 Allen St E, Waterloo on Thursday, October 27th at 9am with Father Phil Reilly, C.R. as Pastor. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.
Following the committal service, friends and family are invited to gather at the St. Louis Church hall for refreshments and a time to visit.
