Obituary of Margaret Rachel Tone

Margaret Rachel Tone passed away on October 27, 2022 at the age of 73.

Marg was kind and generous and loved dearly by her family and friends. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband Ken Tone, brothers Jim Curtis (Laura) and Bob Curtis, sister Sally Kreller (John), sisters-in-law Christine Diebolt (Dave) and Maureen Gerofsky (Dave), brothers-in-law Tom Tone (Norma) and Jim Tone (Laurie), numerous nieces and nephews, and her dear friends and university roommates Lynda and Anne.

Marg graduated from the University of Guelph and worked as a manager of Bell Canada for 30 years in Kitchener and Toronto. She also worked for Manulife for 6 years following her retirement from Bell. Marg was an avid reader. She and her husband Ken travelled extensively and enjoyed many winters in Mexico and Florida together.

Cremation has taken place and there will not be a service at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the KW Humane Society or the Food Bank would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo at www.erbgood.com.
