Obituary of Lieselotte Mayer

After a challenging year, Lieselotte Mayer passed away on October 19, 2022 at the age of 90. Our hearts mourn with overwhelming grief and sadness.

She was predeceased by her husband Alfons Mayer who passed away on November 2, 2021. After his death, she became very lonely, her health declined and her will to live slowly began to deteriorate. She will now be reunited and rest in peace with her beloved Alfons.

She will be sadly missed by her children Hartmunt Goetze, Ralf Goetze and Sandie Bianchet (husband Ron), step-daughters Anita Mayer and Linda Ertel.  She will also be missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, nieces and nephews and family and friends in Germany.

Those who knew Lotty will remember her for her stubborn and feisty character, but yet also for her loving and generous nature, especially to those who showed her that they loved and cared for her undeniably.

A special and heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful staff at Barnswallow Nursing home for the care and compassion of Lotty. 

Cremation has taken place. A private and small Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
