Mary Janet Strome (nee Amy)
Gone to be with her Lord on November 12, 2022 at Saint Luke's Place, Cambridge in her 92nd year. Loving wife and best friend of the late Glen Strome (2015) for 60 years. Much loved mother of Tim (Cindy) of Cambridge and James (Brenda) of Waterloo. Dearly loved by grandchildren Jonathan (Jill), Sarah and David Strome and great grandson Noah.
Remembered by her sister Joan Woods. Predeceased by nine siblings. Survived by sisters-in-law Floral, Marion, Jean and Bettyan Amy and brother-in-law Herb Greulich.
Mary loved to spend time at their cottage in Sauble Beach for many years. Crafts, gardening, reading and crossword puzzles were favourite pastimes.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke's Place for their care.
Family and friends are invited to share with Mary’s family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. South, Waterloo on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service to celebrate Mary’s faith and life will be held on Thursday November 17, 2022, at 2pm at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home with guests welcome to visit an hour prior. Reception to be held following the service. Private interment to occur later at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
