Obituary of William John Harnock

With his family by his side, Bill passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday November 29^th, 2022 at the age of 85.

Survived by his wife, Barbara, of 66 years; his children Karen (Lyle), Kevin (Wendy) and Kelly (Leighton); grandchildren Tammy (Chuck), Rodney, Tanya, Rick (Lindsey), Terri (Justin), Taylor, Kaitlyn (Justin), and Courtney. Great-grandchildren Owen, Phoenix, Corbin, Tess, Lexi, William, Aubree, Bennett, Leighton and great-great-granddaughter Marley; along with brother Wayne and sister Susie.

Predeceased by his parents Carl and Olivia Harnock, and siblings Kenneth, Mary Lou, Robert, Shirley, June, Sharon, and grandson Chris Dunn.

Bill was a lifelong employee at the BF Goodrich/Epton plant until his much-deserved retirement. He was also the founding member and host for many years of the Bridgeport Horseshoe Club. On the eve of December 1^st everyone thought of Bill when the hydro dimmed in Bridgeport due to his crowd-drawing Christmas displays. 

As much as Bill enjoyed decorating for the holidays, nothing brought him as much joy as spending his days with Family and Friends. He will be sadly missed by many and always remain in our hearts.  

Visitation will be held at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on Monday, December 5^th from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral to follow on Tuesday, December 6^th starting at 11:00 am in the funeral home's chapel. Interment at Bridgeport Memorial Cemetery.
