Dear Richard, Adam, Allie and families; Val was the most vibrant person to know. She always greeted her neighbours with a smile, and was there to help when needed. Rylie and I will miss the times we spent with her and Junia at their house or ours, or Heidelberg Park. Val always was led by her faith and love for all human beings. We send our deepest condolences to Richard, Adam, Allie and their families and also to Val's extended family. Whether it be with family, friends, church or deanery, with great enthusiasm, compassion, genuine humility and interest, often multitasking her way through her day, never striving, just being, Val went about caring and loving others. As an excellent example of faith lived daily with a true servant's heart Val inspired many of us along her way. Her absence leaves a huge hole. Val often led The Prayers of the People in church, doing so in her own very special way. May we remember and take comfort that Val's prayers are still with us and for us. As a close friend of Allie's since we were in grade 4, I have so many fond memories growing up, visiting the Haiser household. "Mrs Haiser" cared for me like one of her own, taught me how to eat spaghetti and how to iron, and was just generally an incredible model for how to live life fully and exuberantly! She will be greatly missed by me and my family. We are sending our love and our very deepest condolences to Richard and Allie, James, Eden, Lydia, Ezra, Junia, Adam, Goli, and Kian... and to her many other relations. xo.

Auntie Val was my dear aunt whom I loved so much. She was a dear aunt to all of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. We still can't believe we had to say goodbye. Our hearts are hurting and missing Auntie Val already. Allie, Adam and Uncle Rich took the BEST care of Auntie Val and we could see very clearly how deeply they love her and will miss her terribly. Allie's husband, James, and their children, Eden, Lydia, Ezra and Junia showered much love on Auntie Val during her sickness and stayed strong for Allie and Uncle Rich. Auntie Val - you loved me so much. You loved us all so much. Thank you for your love, your light, your faith, your vibrancy.
