Obituary of Jack McGoey

Passed away following a brief illness at Grand River Hospital on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the age of 80 years.

Lovingly remembered by his children Jennifer Braun (Wayne) of Kansas City, Colin McGoey of Vaughan. Papa “Jack” to  Jordan, Joel, Davis Braun and Curtis, Grace McGoey.

Survived by his siblings Sharon (Wilf) Brubacher, Marilyn (Richard) Magnussen and Jim (late Lorna) McGoey. Jack is predeceased by his parents John and Helen McGoey.

Jack was employed with Budd Automotive for over 30 years. He was adventurous and enjoyed travelling particularly to Thailand where he has many friends. He will be remembered for his good sense of humour, independence and hard work ethic.

Special thanks to Grand River ICU for their great care during his last few days of life.

At Jack’s request cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
