Dear Barb & family:
I have so many fond memories of being with you and Tom at Shrine events over the years! The Potentates cruises were fun times. Being in the Mocha Shrine Jeepster Unit with Tom were special when we attended big events from the west and east coasts of Canada & the US. You were always a great couple to be with!

Tom was my grandfather and I have many fond memories with him.
Some of my most favourite memories are going fishing for Pickerel at Round Lake (watching him clean the fish too!), making his famous beans, spending weekends at Fishermans Cove eating fire cooked meals, watching him cook bacon on the outdoor grille with his shirt off and grease flying everywhere, going to his house on Christmas Day as a child, all of the fish fry's and pot lucks, spending summers at Round Lake with him, and going berry picking.
I could likely fill a book with the memories I have shared with him. A lot of these memories I have, my brothers and sisters will have as well, as he did all of this with each one of us.
I'll never forget his laugh, and the somewhat "dirty" jokes he'd tell to the surprise of my grandmother from time to time. These jokes would usually end with him laughing and wiping his moustache one side at a time while my grandmother would tell him to "stop it Tom!".
I will forever hang on to these memories and will be certain to share them with your great granddaughter when she is born next spring. Although a few of them will have to wait to be told until she's much older LOL.
I love you grandpa!
