Obituary of Erna Cassidy (Née Eichholz)

Erna passed away peacefully at Derbecker’s Heritage House Long Term Care in St Jacobs on Saturday December 24, 2022, at the age of 98.

Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Cassidy. Survived by sons David (Barb), Dennis (Kathryn), and Timm; cherished Gram of Sean and Susanne, Jason and Tamara, and Tegan and Jon Rossiter; Great-Gram of Shannon, Riley, Cayden, Hudson, Carter, Adalynn, and Kayda.

Predeceased by sisters Edna, Florence, Frieda, Vera, and brother Arno.

A special thanks to the all the staff at Derbecker’s Heritage House Long Term Care in St Jacobs for the care and support they’ve shown Erna over her three and a half years in their care.

At Erna’s request, cremation will take place with no visitation or funeral service. A private family celebration will take place at a later date.
