It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ed at Grand River Hospital KW Campus on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Beth Goodwin.  Loving father of Tracey Goodwin and her husband Luke Yourkevich, and Tyler Goodwin and his wife Jes.  Cherished grandfather of Cole, Blake and Sophie. Survived by his sisters Barb Hastings (the late Hugh Hastings), Norma Bordman and her husband Paul, and sister-in-law Sue Goodwin.  Predeceased by his siblings Ross Goodwin, Dave Goodwin, Marlene Keith-Jeffries (the late Scot Keith and the late George Jeffries) and Nancy Goodwin.

Ed worked at the University of Waterloo for over 42 years, coached house league and All-Star with the Forest Hill T-Ball Association and was a longtime member of the Optimist Club of Kitchener West.

Relatives and friends will be received at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.  A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2023, at 2 p.m.  A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room.
