Great Grandma to 8 great grandchildren, Ben, Sophia, Zoe, Walter, Lucas, Logan, Grace, and Walker. Brothers Jan (Leni deceased), Hans (Corry) and sister-in-law Nicky (Gerry deceased). Frederika will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family in Holland.

Predeceased by her parents, Jan and Bertha Blyleven, and her siblings Arie, Netty (Joop), Dick (Meta), and in laws Marion (John).

Frederika married the love of her life John in 1952. They immigrated from Holland to Canada later that year. Through the challenges of building a new life in Canada their strong faith helped them persevere. They lived in multiple locations in Ontario, eventually settling in Kitchener in 1972. They raised eight blessed children, with her staying home to support them. Frederika led a simple, spirited life with her faith as the guiding light. Her church community was important to her. She was widowed in 1994 and remained strong; singing hymns, and enjoying her loving family to the end. We take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and is resting with our heavenly Father. Rest in peace, until we meet again. You will be forever in our hearts.

Special thanks to the staff at Chartwell Westmount-Pioneer neighborhood for the love and care they showed Mom during her time there.
