Obituary of Tekla Piotrowski

Tekla Piotrowski (Muzyka) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11 at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 99.

Tekla was the loving wife of the late Joseph Piotrowski and dear mother to Wanda Cox and Richard Piotrowski (Tammi).

She was the beloved Babcia to Soulsen Cox (Vanessa) Alicia Cox Thomson (Michael), Jason Piotrowski (Samantha), Daniel Piotrowski (Eileen Chanthalyma) and Tiffany Piotrowski (Luke Kieswetter), and a delighted great-Babcia to Hannah, Sadie, Adeline Cox, Theo and Simone Thomson and Devlin Piotrowski.

She was predeceased by her two brothers and three sisters.

Tekla was a strong woman of faith who loved her family and wanted the best for them. She enjoyed feeding everyone, whether you were hungry or not, and we will all miss her Polish cooking.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 18 at 11am at Sacred Heart RC Church, 66 Shanley Street, Kitchener. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, 119 Arlington Blvd., Kitchener. After the burial, friends and relatives are invited to the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo for a reception.
