Obituary of Paul Arthur Taylor

Born, November 25, 1961, in Aldridge, West Midlands, UK. Passed away suddenly on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the age of 61. Paul worked for over 30 years as a Tool and Die Maker. He was proud to have his City and Guilds Certification. He transitioned into working as a Technical Sales Representative, which he exceled at. The last seven years he spent in technical sales for Voestalpine, which was like his other family. Paul had an amazing sense of humor and a heart of gold. He was a natural charmer, always friendly, smiling, and found a quick way to make you laugh and move into your heart.

Paul moved from England in 1995 by way of Saturn Tool & Die in Windsor. Within a month of landing there, he met his new friend and “brother from another mother,” Jim Jewell. Paul lived with Jim for almost 3 years. Paul loved F1 racing, motorbike racing, anything that went fast! Jim and Paul went to 5 F1 races together, as well as Vegas and many other Ontario get-aways.

Paul will be deeply missed by his best friend Jim Jewell, his sister Anne Taylor, her husband Andrew, and their two sons Tomás and Michael. He is also survived by his child Lane Taylor, and his grandchild Ira, as well as many more extended family members and friends. Paul was predeceased by his parents William and Barbara Taylor.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 28th. For details of the location and time of the event, please email Jim at celebrationoflifepaul@gmail.com
