Obituary of Anna Marie Schaefer

Anna passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday January 23, 2023, at Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care.

Anna will be dearly missed by her loving husband Roy of 56 years. Her son Joseph (Jenna), daughters Anita (Steve) Jantzi, Lori (Fernando) De Sousa and stepdaughter Linda (Chris) Taylor. Eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sister to Dorothy (Murray) Luft.

Anna was a loving mom making a home for her husband and children. She really enjoyed cooking and baking. She took great enjoyment from her shopping trips to Frankenmuth with her girls. She enjoyed making memories at the cottage and trailer. She always loved family gatherings especially if she didn’t have to do the cooking or cleaning.

Special thanks to Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care for the support and care they showed Anna during her time in their care especially to nurses Linda and Lina.

A celebration of life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday January 28, 2023, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. 

Cremation has occurred and a private family interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery at a later date.
