Obituary of Barbara Jean Reidel

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara Jean Reidel at the age of 70, on Tuesday January 31, 2023, following a long battle with cancer.

Loving mother to Laura (Dave) Goodwin and Anthony Reidel. Proud grandmother to Abygail, Hailey and Jack. 

Barbara will be deeply missed by her siblings: Margaret Barfoot, Doris (Alan) Ladd, John Graf and Bernie Graf, former husband John Reidel, and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother, Anna (Lehmann) Groves and step-father, Steve Groves as well as brothers Steven Graf and David Graf, sister Claire Poirier, and brothers-in-law, Paul Barfoot and Karl Poirier.

Barbara will also be missed by her neighbour and friend Brooklyn Hilton, and her daughter Ava Brunette, who were like another daughter and granddaughter to her.

At Barbara's request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place and private family interment will take place in the spring.
