Obituary of Susan Jane Nicol

After battling cancer for two years, Sue passed away peacefully on February 8, 2023 at the age of 51. 

Sue will always be remembered as the strong, compassionate, and loving person she was by everyone who had the joy of knowing her. Sue will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Meaghan and Kristen Nicol, her beloved dog, Reese, and her husband Tom Nicol; as well as her parents Walter and Edna Wilhelm, her brothers Jeff and Dave Wilhelm, and sisters Connie Wilhelm, Norma Wynia, Linda Brutzki, and parents-in-law Don and Bonnie Nicol, brother-in-law Rob Nicol, and her nephew Wyatt Nicol. 

Sue was predeceased by her brother Bill Wilhelm, whom she loved deeply. 

In her 51 years that were cut far too short, Sue shared her kind spirit and artistic abilities with her loved ones through scrapbooking and painting. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and her dog, who was often a strong contender for the title of her favourite child; relaxing with a good book or movie; caring for those she loved most, and always ensuring her family felt loved and supported. 

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held by her family at a later date.
