I want to send my deepest and sincerest condolences to the whole Doerr family. I cant count the enough blessings in getting to know John, I loved him like a second father. He took the time to teach me about excellence in lutherie, countless of hours sanding polishing fixing staining building refretting repairing banjos ,guitars , mandolins and fiddles. !!you name it . John could do it all!!...I am so very grateful that I was able to spend the last 10 years of his just being with him in his little shop, just playing fiddle with him, I will sorely miss his wit ,funny sarcasm and his talent and generosity . I wish him well on his next journey. till we meet again Johnny -boy!!! love Darin and Anita
