Obituary of Nancy Gloor

Nancy Gloor passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on February 28, 2023 at the age of 74, after a short illness.

 

Nancy was a proud retired employee of Bell Canada, where she worked for 30 years in Operational Services.

 

She will be dearly missed and remembered by her many nieces and nephews; Kathy (Steve) Padfield, Joanne Kraemer, Mark (Leona) Kraemer, Paul Kraemer, Stephen (Shannon) Kraemer, Jane (Bob) Scanferla, Tom (Heidi) Schiller, and Dan (Karen) Schiller.

 

Nancy was also proud of her great-nieces and great-nephews; Jackie Preston, Rebecca Padfield, Emily Kraemer, Keith Hennig-Beitz, Leanne Giannoble, Danielle Barker, Jennifer Schiller, Ryan Schiller, Brodie Schiller, and Adam Scanferla. She also had a great-great-niece and great-great-nephew.

 

She was predeceased by her parents Edna and Bill Williams, her husband and best friend of 30 years, Doug Gloor, her sister Mary Ann Kraemer-Miller, and her brothers Jim Williams and Doug Williams. She is survived by her sister Joan Schiller.

                                                                                                

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for comforting Nancy in the final chapter of her life.

 

A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 11, 2023 at 11am at Parkview Cemetery, 335 University Avenue, Waterloo, Ontario, N2J 4A8 with a luncheon reception to immediately follow at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, Ontario, N2J 1P7.
