Obituary of Ronald David Porter (Pokryfka)

April 5, 1951 – March 9, 2023

 

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from cancer at the age of 71.

 

Ron was a clever man who devoted his life to music, working as a church organist for over 20 years.

 

He is survived by his brother Gary Porter, and many cousins. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Emilie (Emma) Porter.

 

Special thanks to the Health and Social Workers, especially Leslie Morgensen, for their care during Ron’s lengthy illness.

 

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a service.
